Repair Management Miscellaneous Features

The profile Repair Management section is part of Repair Workflow. It includes a number of features that provide the ability for you to manage all aspects of the repair process. The first group of features include setting up data export, Work Order, accounting, and marketing.

Set Up Marketing Age Ranges

Task	How to do it
The Marketing - Age Ranges feature allows you to set up and edit age ranges. The entries you set up appear in the workfile Contacts tab Customer Age droplist under the Marketing Information pane.	To set up marketing age ranges Select Configure > Profiles from the menu bar. Select your repair facility profile, and then click Edit from the mini-toolbar. Click on the Marketing - Age Ranges link under Repair Management. Select an entry, and then select Edit from the toolbar. The Marketing - Age Ranges screen opens. Edit the information in the screen. Click OK, and then click Save and Close from the toolbar. Note: The record description cannot be edited once it has been saved. Records can be activated or deactivated.

Task

How to do it

To set up marketing age ranges

Select Configure > Profiles from the menu bar.
Select your repair facility profile, and then click Edit from the mini-toolbar.
Click on the Marketing - Age Ranges link under Repair Management.
Select an entry, and then select Edit from the toolbar. The Marketing - Age Ranges screen opens.
Edit the information in the screen.
Click OK, and then click Save and Close from the toolbar.

Note: The record description cannot be edited once it has been saved. Records can be activated or deactivated.

The Marketing - Referral Sources feature allows you to set up or edit Referral sources. The entries you set up appear in the workfile Contacts tab Primary Referral and Secondary Referral droplists under the Marketing Information pane.	To set up referral sources Select Configure > Profiles from the menu bar. Select your repair facility profile, and then click Edit from the mini-toolbar. Click on the Marketing - Referral Sources link under Repair Management. Select an entry, and then select Edit from the toolbar. The Marketing - Referral Sources screen opens. Edit the information in the screen, and then click OK. Click Save and Close from the toolbar. Note: The record description cannot be edited once it has been saved. Set Up Workfile Numbering

Task	How to do it
The Workfile - Numbering feature allows you to select the job numbering preference. For users who have CCC ONE Estimating, this option is referred to as automatic job numbering.	To select the Repair Order numbering preference Select Configure > Profiles from the menu bar. Select your repair facility profile, and then select Edit from the mini-toolbar. Click on the Workfile - Numbering link under Workfile Management. Select one of the options. Select Save or Save and Close to save your profile changes.

The Workfile - Numbering feature allows you to select the job numbering preference.

For users who have CCC ONE Estimating, this option is referred to as automatic job numbering.

To select the Repair Order numbering preference

Select Configure > Profiles from the menu bar.
Select your repair facility profile, and then select Edit from the mini-toolbar.
Click on the Workfile - Numbering link under Workfile Management.
Select one of the options.
Select Save or Save and Close to save your profile changes.

Add Task Types

Task	How to do it
The Workflow - Task Types feature allows you to add or edit task types used in workflow.	To edit workflow tasks Select Configure > Profiles from the menu bar. Select your repair facility profile, and then click Edit from the mini-toolbar. Click on the Workflow - Task Types link under Repair Management. Select a task type, and then select Edit from the toolbar. The Task Type screen opens. Click Add from the toolbar. Enter your task information. To change the tasks display order While in the Task Types screen, click on the entry that you want to move, and then select the up or down arrows to the right. Click OK. Select Save or Save and Close to save your profile changes. Note: Select the Display on Calendar Dashboard option to view the task in the Calendar Dashboard.

The Workflow - Task Types feature allows you to add or edit task types used in workflow.

To edit workflow tasks

Select Configure > Profiles from the menu bar.
Select your repair facility profile, and then click Edit from the mini-toolbar.
Click on the Workflow - Task Types link under Repair Management.
Select a task type, and then select Edit from the toolbar. The Task Type screen opens.
Click Add from the toolbar.
Enter your task information.

To change the tasks display order

While in the Task Types screen, click on the entry that you want to move, and then select the up or down arrows to the right.
Click OK.
Select Save or Save and Close to save your profile changes.

Note: Select the Display on Calendar Dashboard option to view the task in the Calendar Dashboard.
